Wat Khao Tham is 550 m away, and Harmony Beach Club and Milky Bay Restaurant are nearby. Baan Kai Beach and Thong Sala Beach are also on this stretch of the island.

Thong Sala, the island’s port town, is 3 km from the resort. Koh Phangan has no airport, so visitors arrive by ferry, usually at Thong Sala; shared songthaews run from there towards Ban Tai. Travellers flying into Samui or Surat Thani connect onward by boat. Scooter hire is common on the island, but roads to some of its hills and bays are steep, including the route to Haad Rin. ABC Bungalow has no parking on site and asks you to provide your expected arrival time in advance.

Thong Sala’s Night Market and Wat Pra Yai are each 1.3 km away. The market is an evening food stop in the port town; Phaeng Waterfall, 3.6 km away, and Jungle Flight Adventure Park, 4 km away, are inland excursions. February to April is generally the driest, calmest period on Koh Phangan. June to September brings a greener season with short storms. October to December is the wettest season, with rougher seas especially on the island’s east coast. Haad Rin, at the southern tip, hosts the monthly Full Moon Party.
